Greerton Marist Junior Rugby will have at least 19 teams in 2021.

U6-U7: 7 aside Rippa played on half a field.

U8: First year of tackle rugby on half a field and 10aside rugby.

U9-U10: Competition grade on half a field and 10aside rugby..

U11-U13: Competition grades - Full tackle, full field and 15aside rugby. 

Players are allocated to teams following registrations and weigh in. We follow the Western Bay Junior Rugby Weight Grading guidelines. We try and keep players with their team year on year and do our best to accomodate parent requests. However, due to number restrictions per team, we cannot guarantee that all team requests will be fulfileld.

Due to the shortened 2020 season, U13s will be the only grade to have competiion points count and then a finals round. There will be no finals for U9s - U12s this season.

Playing Time and Location Info:

U6 & U7: Teams play at Arataki Click here for park info

U8-U10: Teams play on Saturday mornings from 9am to 1pm, at Blake Park, Mount Maunganui on a half field. 

U11-13: Games are played at home & away on Saturdays starting at 8:30am - U11 start first in the morning, then U12 and then U13.
